8-in-1 Soil Sensor for Versatile Growing
This 8-in-1 soil detector measures humidity, temperature, EC, salinity, pH, and NPK—ideal for any farm or garden.
8-in-1 Comprehensive Monitoring: Simultaneously tracks Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), pH Level, Electrical Conductivity (EC), Moisture, Salinity and Temperature.
Industrial-Grade Durability: Equipped with 316L Stainless Steel probes, it is rust-proof, salt-alkali corrosion-resistant, and built for long-term electrolysis resistance.
IP68 Fully Waterproof: Vacuum-sealed with high-density epoxy resin, this sensor is designed to be buried in soil or submerged in water indefinitely without performance degradation.
High Precision & Rapid Response: Features a response time of <1 second with high-resolution accuracy (e.g., 0.01 for pH, 0.1°C for Temp).
Universal Connectivity: Uses the standard RS485 Modbus RTU protocol. Seamlessly integrate it with PLCs, microcontrollers, or cloud platforms. Support for up to 254 sensors on a single bus.

Our RS485 sensor connects to your PC (485-to-USB), microcontroller, or PLC via Modbus RTU.
Upload soil data to our free cloud platform via a network collector (8 elements) or environmental host (32 elements). Access real-time insights on any device to track optimal growth.
The sensor uses the FDR (Frequency Domain Reflectometry) principle to estimate NPK levels based on the soil's dielectric constant and conductivity. While it provides highly reliable trends and relative changes for smart farming, for laboratory-grade absolute precision, we recommend using it alongside periodic professional soil soil tests to calibrate your local baseline.
Yes, absolutely. The sensor is rated IP68 waterproof and vacuum-sealed with high-density epoxy resin. The probes are made of 316L stainless steel, which is specially treated to resist long-term salt-alkali corrosion and electrolysis.
Yes. The sensor communicates via the standard RS485 Modbus RTU protocol, which is the industry standard. It can easily connect to PLCs (like Siemens or Mitsubishi), microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32), or industrial computers using an RS485-to-USB adapter. One RS485 bus can theoretically support up to 254 sensors.
For accurate readings, the soil must be moist and in full contact with the probes. After insertion, it typically takes 3 to 5 minutes for the sensor to stabilize as the soil settles around the probes. We recommend ensuring the soil moisture is at least 20% for the most accurate chemical parameter readings (pH/EC/NPK).
The sensor operates on a wide voltage range of 12V to 24V DC. The standard cable is 2 meters.
